My watercolors, oils and drawings speak the way I see, feel and experience life around me. The world I see is painfully empty without the living images of animals or figures, portraying some aspect of relationship with each other. The subject matter of my paintings is the incredible beauty, strength and gentleness of nature; the intuitive wisdom of animals; and the occasional connections humans have to either. I paint these relationships for they are what make the not-so-easy parts of life easier. Nature is Divinely given to us along with the responsibility to cherish and protect all that lives there. My art reflects both my gratitude for the nurturing presence of animals and nature and also my grief for our human neglect to love, preserve and protect them.
